I will heal on my own in time
Like a forest that has caught fire
Time will heal me
and with the ashes, a new hope can grow
maybe into a great tree...maybe a delicate flower
only time will tell
it is quite possible that I may end up as a tiny flower inside a strong tree...
and then an axe-man comes through and chops me down to find the flower inside,
plucking it and claiming it as his....
I hope he does not choose to burn it
but to replant it and water it
tread carefully with your candle
even though I am still buried in ashes...it does not mean I can't feel anything burning
Remember...love is a flame

Fury. Pure, utter, mind-blowing rage.
That feeling in the pit of your stomach that lets you percieve the actual boiling of your stomach acids.
The all-consuming blood-lust that takes over your mind and body. All sight becomes crimson. Your heart beats like a helicopter in your throat, your palms begin to sweat, your body temperature rises, and it's as if, for a few moments, that the same stomach acid could ignite somewhere between there and your mouth, and you could unleash a blast of magma unto your victim.
You feel like smashing things, breaking things, but you can't be so uncivlized, so you hold it in, bottle it up, air-tight, and that
My dreams and nightmares are getting more crazy. So crazy, in fact, I'm going to make a short story out of the one I had last night.
The dream/nightmare was in first person, but I wasn't...me. It was weird...but I did have a name. It was Arella. It's weird because I've never even heard of that name before. The other name is true as well. None of which I have ever heard of in my life.
[sorry for the weird paragraphing]
I was captured. At least I thought I was.
I was in this...prison with brownish-green stone walls, with moss growing between the cracks. I stood up and stretched, my body a little sore from lying on the ha
It was the dead of night, the stars cast a luminous reflection on the still lake. The sky was an inky black-indigo as I edged toward the shimmering mirror of liquid. The verdant forest surrounding me was completely quiet. My chilled breathing and soft, agile footsteps were nearly deafening against the silence.
I took a breath slightly deeper than my others and looked up to the sky to see only one cloud. Normally on nights like these, the color of the cloud matched the sky behind it. No...not this one...it was a bloody mahogany from what I could see.

Pearl: Chapter 1:1 Intoxicated
My eyes tingled as I meandered toward Pearl Bay, the wind whipping across my face nipping at my rosy cheeks. Usually at the annual Oyster Hunt, people, or elves I should say, search high and low for the prettiest, biggest, or most unique oyster that would contain the award-winning pearl. Each elf was only allowed one oyster, so once you pick the one you fancy, you are stuck with it until next year.
The hunt used to not be important to me, but now it is cosmic. Pearl Bay was apart of the ancient Tundra, one of the most frigid places on the planet.
The hunt was also based off a legend. According to the legend, the sorceress who

Chapter 1 - Holy Cow
"Come on, we're going to be late!" Lilu exclaimed running down the now, deserted hallway. "I don't want to look like an idiot on the first freakin' day of school!'
"Good gravy, you don't have to flip out. It's not like being late affects your grade!" Jana retorted, catching up to Lilu.
Lilu Waters, Jana Lewis, and Rachel Owen were closer than sisters. It is nearly impossible to separate the three. Except for, of course, schedules, which is why Rachel was not with them. She was two floors away.
Lilu and Jana both finally reached their first class, for which they happened to be two mi

Chapter 2: Popcorn Fest
"I look like a freaking idiot," groaned Lilu.
"You look hot." Jana corrected her.
"OOOH, he's going to be like, whoa!" Rachel said laughing.
Lilu was wearing a long, black ruffly skirt, a blue tank top that set off her amazing sapphire eyes, and a fitted black jacket. She looked entirely beautiful.
"We'll walk you to the park, but when we see Luke, we go bye-bye." Jana said. "And you guys don't be banjo-bangin' either."
"Banjo-b ." Lilu said utterly perplexed. "Ooooh!" A look of comprehension dawned on her face. She started giggling.
"Come on, let's go!" Rachel declared impatiently, rolling her eye
